Until now, you have known us as a manufacturer of customized touchscreens with individually printed or configured cover glass and the matching touch sensor.
Today we would like to introduce you to our standard touchscreen kit for cost-conscious requirements. In addition to the touchscreen, which is available in various sizes and resolutions, the kit also includes a controller and USB cable. You can also choose between standard touchscreens with or without a glass surface. The cover glass has a black frame as standard. As you can also get the touchscreen without a glass surface, you still have the option of having the glass printed according to your requirements. Thanks to the glass surface, the PCAP touchscreen is very resistant to scratches and is highly resistant to harsh environmental conditions.
However, the possible applications are not limited to touchscreens, capacitive buttons or other sensors. Other possible applications include transparent circuits for LEDs, transparent heaters or transparent antennas/shields.
Touchscreens with glass surface
The biggest advantage of this touch technology is that the sensor is located on the back of the cover glass. This process makes the glass surface practically wear-free and very easy to operate. With its up to 10 touch points, the PCAP touchscreen enables multiple gestures and touches to be recognized. The controller and the connection cable (e.g. USB) are already included in the scope of delivery. You can see our standard dimensions for touchscreens with glass in the following table:

Touchscreens without a glass surface
In addition to touchscreens with a glass surface, we also offer touchscreens without glass as well as the individual components. You can obtain industrial touchscreens with controllers from us in a variety of sizes and for a wide range of applications. As already mentioned, you still have the option of having the cover glass printed according to your project requirements. We are also happy to help you with this. The controller board determines the performance
In order to achieve perfect performance, we only use controllers based on EETI. The detailed coordination of software and controller determines how the individual input methods are processed. We use a controller-on-board (COB) solution as standard. The biggest advantage of COB‑s is their modular design. There is no need to touch the touchscreen for repair or replacement work. The possibility of modifying the functional scope of the software is generally recommended for various applications (e.g. gesture recognition in an ATM). In addition to the range of functions, the sensitivity or reaction behavior to touch impulses also plays a very important role. The response behavior has a direct impact on the ergonomic perception of the user. Our controllers are supplied with pre-set firmware which in this case enables 4‑touch points.

With touch sensors or touchscreens, it is therefore not only the quality of a touchscreen or the physical properties of the material or the manufacturing quality that matter, but also to a large extent the competent and application-related coordination of software and controller.
